"The fabulous world of Amélie: The Musical" brings French flair home: From May 10, 2019, the album to the musical "The Fabulous World of Amélie" with the voices of the original cast around the leading actor Sandra Leitner and Andreas Bongard and the Music from the pen of Daniel Messé available. The 27 songs that were recorded live in the Werk7 Theater are framed by the well-known and popular melodies of composer and musician Yann Tiersen, who wrote the soundtrack to the eponymous film.
Since the European premiere on February 14, 2019, Paris is blowing air to Munich: The musical tells the story of Amélie Poulain, a young French woman working as a waitress in the Montmarte district of Paris. In fact, Amélie lives in her own cosmos. It is as bizarre as adorable. Magically she draws other people into her fabulous world and miraculously changes their lives.
In the theater, the audience is unusually close to the action and see the world in a wondrous, bizarre and imaginative way through Amélie's eyes! An intimate, charming and wonderfully entertaining musical experience.
