Jazzman2 also tells us the following: "...I recently attended a lecture on Broadway musicals and composers. Apparently one of the Beatles phoned Meredith Willson and asked if they could record one of his songs for an album(Til There Was You)

Apparently this was the only Broadway song they recorded----

Anyway it turned out that Meredith Willson made more money from the royalties of the Beatles recording than he made for all his musicals..."
