Historia basada en la película homónima que en 1949 dirigió el mexicano Alberto Gout y que fue estelarizada por la cubana Ninón Sevilla.

"Aventurera" se estrenó el 27 de agosto de 1997 en el "Salón Los Angeles" de la ciudad de México, bajo la producción de "Vallejo y Salinas Producciones", es una obra de Carlos Olmos, inspirada en el argumento fílmico de Alvaro Custodio, bajo la dirección de Enrique Pineda, con Música de Agustín Lara entre otros autores. A lo largo de más de 12 años en cartelera, giras por la República Mexicana y los Estados Unidos, "Aventurera" ha tenido innumerables cambios en su reparto; el personaje central ha sido interpretado por: Judith González, Itati Cantoral, Adriana Fonseca, Paty Navidad, Lorena Rojas, Liz Vega, Niurka, Yatana, Sabine Moussier y Maribel Guardia. Este audio corresponde a la versión de 1999, encabezada por Itati Cantoral y con las actuaciones de Carmen Salinas, Alejandro Tommasi, Aarón Hernán, Luis Simon, Payin Cejudo y Ramón Abascal.

La historia de José el Soñador, está basada en las narraciones bíblicas de Moisés en el Libro del Génesis, del Nuevo Testamento. Originalmente la obra se concibió como un montaje escolar, era una cantata de 15 minutos que formó parte de las actividades de fin de ciclo escolar de la "Colet Court School" de Londres, Inglaterra, el año de 1968. A finales de ese mismo año se presentó una versión más amplia, de 35 minutos, que ya incluia la canción de Putifar. En 1970 se grabó un demo en que el papel de Narrador lo hizo el propio Tim Rice; ese mismo año Webber y Rice aprovecharon el éxito de su Musical "Jesuschrist Superstar" para promocionar a "José el Soñador" como la precuela de Superstar. Durante casi 12 años, el musical se presentó en escenarios no-profesionales enriqueciendo su contenido; finalmente en enero de 1982 llegó al Royal Theatre de Broadway donde alcanzó con gran éxito 749 representaciones. Un año más tarde se montó en la ciudad de México, donde permaneció en cartelera hasta 1989 con una interrupción de algunos meses ya que el terremoto que en 1985 debastó a la ciudad de México, derrumbó el teatro donde se presentaba. Este video pertenece a la segunda etapa, puesta en escena en el Teatro San Rafael.

Anyway, not at least until he finds that 'My Defences are Down'. Though Annie defiantly says 'Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better', she realizes that 'You Can't Get a Man With a Gun'. The victor at the end is love; as you know, 'It's Wonderful'. After all, 'There's No Business Like Show Business'. Ethel Merman originated the role on B'way, followed by a slew of actresses in revivals!Starring: Howard Keel & Betty Hutton...
